Job description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic located in Longview, TX. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and equipment. Daily tasks include diagnosing engine and mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment. The Diesel Mechanic will also work on vehicle and equipment maintenance, ensuring safety standards and regulations are followed. Capable of DOT inspections is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in Vehicle Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, and Diesel Mechanics
• Knowledge of Heavy Equipment and Preventive Maintenance practices
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications or technical training in diesel mechanics or related fields
• Physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions
• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
• Experience in the transportation or construction industry is a plus
