Overview

R10089476 Diesel Mechanic (Open)

Location: La Porte, TX - 11426 Fairmont Pkwy - Bulk cryo logistics

Responsibilities

• Sunday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Repair and maintain diesel tractors and specialized systems to meet DOT standards and safety protocols.
• Implement creative solutions to ensure smooth equipment flow and translate maintenance reports into actionable service strategies.
• Partner with the team to communicate technical needs clearly while fostering a Safety First environment focused on proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of tractor-trailer maintenance/mechanical experience
• Experience with a variety of basic hand, power tools and equipment
• Ideally, own basic hand tools
• Knowledgeable in gasoline engine mechanics and preventative maintenance
• Valid Driver's License (non CDL)

Preferred

• High school diploma or GED; two years technical college or military technical experience
• Familiarity or interest in cryogenics
• Familiarity or interest in hydraulics
• Class A CDL with HazMat; DOT brake certification is a plus (Not Required)
