Job summary

MasterTech in Warren, United States, is seeking qualified Diesel Truck Mechanics and Trailer Mechanics for a busy shop. A valid driver's license is required; CDL and clean driving record are major assets.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot and repair engines, A/C, electrical, exhaust, brakes and axles across major brands such as Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner and Volvo. Starting pay ranges from $32.00 to $42.00 per hour based on experience and training, with revenue and efficiency bonuses.

Qualifications

• Licensed driver with CDL preferred and clean driving record.
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel trucks and trailers.
• Experience with major truck brands (Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, International, Western Star, Mack, Volvo).
• Strong reliability, knowledge of engines, A/C, electrical, exhaust, brakes and axles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair diesel trucks and trailers.
• Perform quality repairs for customers’ trucks in a busy shop.
• Possess valid driver's license; CDL and clean driving record are assets.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance; work 8:00 am–5:00 pm with possible after-hours.

Knowledgeable, reliable and skilled Diesel Techs will provide quality repairs to all manner of customer trucks.A valid driver's license is required.
