Job summary

Titan Machinery in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Case IH Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy machinery. You will apply manufacturer specs and keep customers informed on timelines.

This role requires 2+ years of related experience or an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology, own tools, and a focus on safety and quality workmanship. Travel to training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality and efficient workmanship.
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly and professionally with the Service Manager, service team, and customers while providing timely and courteous service.
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments.

Qualifications

• Have 2+ years of related experience OR an Ass ociate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program
• Ability to travel to offsite training facilities, as needed
• Must have own tools
• Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently
• Exceptional Documentation and Communication Abilities
