Job description

Candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of diesel equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Must follow ALL OSHA, company, and job site safety rules
  • Operate various pieces of large equipment (dozer, grader, front‑end loader, and other related equipment)
  • Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing regular checks on their functionality
  • Perform diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles
  • Analyze diagnostic test results
  • Repairing and replacing parts, engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components
  • Inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and refilling equipment
  • Commit to the overall safety of the work environment by always taking extra precautions to work with the utmost care and consideration
  • Perform other duties when assigned
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience
  • Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components
  • Must be physically fit and be able to lift up to 150 pounds
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Good diagnostic skills
  • Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools
  • Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards
  • A keen eye to details and good decision making skills
  • Work independently with minimum supervision
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays if Needed
  • Must be able to work well with others
  • Must be able to work in all types of environments, including inclement weather
  • Excellent communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Good organization skills
