You will diagnose diesel systems, perform heavy equipment repairs, schedule customer service tasks, and keep meticulous records while maintaining a safe workspace. A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Install truck bodies, light bars, wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, and HVAC connections on new emergency vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, heavy equipment, and complex electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on company and customer vehicles.
• Schedule and manage customer service needs with professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, log parts used, and keep a clean, safe workspace.

Diesel Mechanic - Service Writer Technician

Frenchville, ME $22.00 / Hour Monday - Friday (occasional Saturday)

What You’ll Do

• Build Emergency Vehicles: Transform brand-new vehicles into fully equipped emergency units by installing truck bodies, light bars, wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, and HVAC connections.
• Perform Expert Repairs: Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, heavy‑duty equipment, and complex electrical systems.
• Maintain & Inspect: Handle routine maintenance and safety inspections on both company and customer vehicles.
• Manage Customer Service: Schedule and manage customer service needs with professionalism and accuracy.
• Stay Organized: Keep accurate records of work performed, log parts used, handle data entry, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
