Job summary

Sunshine Quality Solutions is seeking a Service Technician in Franklinton, LA to diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural and turf equipment for customers and dealers. You will work under supervision, perform service tasks, and stay current with product knowledge through ongoing training.

The role requires at least 1 year of service repair experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of service repairs experience.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance using specialized tools and manuals.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in agricultural equipment.
• Competency in using Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment.
• High School Diploma and valid driver's license; pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural and turf equipment.
• Engage in ongoing Service EDUCATE Training programs to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of John Deere products and competitive equipment.
• Ensure proper upkeep of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment; maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
• Keep workspace clean and organized; demonstrate professionalism and attention to detail.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.
• Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and promptly.
• Track and record time and materials used for each assignment.

Description

Sunshine Quality Solutions is actively seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural and turf equipment for our valued customers and dealers. Reporting to various levels of management, you will execute service tasks with occasional guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, including established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
• Engage in ongoing Service EDUCATE Training programs to enhance technical skills and product knowledge, staying current with industry advancements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of John Deere products and competitive equipment, enabling informed service and recommendations.
• Ensure the proper upkeep of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
