• 2+ years diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Experience with Cummins & Detroit engines.
• Experience with Tractor and Trailer PMs and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment maintenance and repairs on Class A Trucks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on trailers and forklifts.

Skills

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for Diesel Tractor Mechanics at our Elgin, IL Service Center. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs on Class A Trucks, trailers, and forklifts. Diesel engine experience is required; experience with trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, welding, and forklifts is preferred.
