We are currently searching for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

The diesel mechanic will work in diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining vehicles, trailers, equipment, and tools. Ensures adherence to relevant regulations, requirements, company policies, and safe working practices to facilitate smooth operation and effective repair and preventative maintenance programs.

This is a full-time position, typically working Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday work and possible overtime. Manthei Construction offers excellent health benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, product discounts, and more!

• Be fully aware of and observe all governmental and company policies
• Diagnose problems and issues with trucks and equipment
• Perform maintenance on trucks, heavy equipment, etc.
• Make repairs safely and efficiently
• Perform preventative maintenance, including replacing parts as necessary
• Complete work promptly while maintaining quality
• Keep work area neat and clean
• Perform other duties as needed

Other Skills, Abilities, Licenses or Certifications

• Valid Driver’s License required
• CDL Class A preferred

Education and Experience

• 2-4 years’ experience in diesel and hydraulic mechanics required
• Additional experience in welding, fabricating, and mechanical repairs on heavy trucks and equipment preferred

While performing these duties, team members may be exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; chemicals; weather conditions; electrical shock risks; and vibration. The environment is usually moderate in noise. Frequent contact with vendors, truck drivers, and team members occurs in various situations.
