• Technician positions pay weekly
• Hourly pay: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour based on experience
• Ability to earn additional monthly performance incentives
• Schedule: Flexible 40-hour work week (weekend premiums apply)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational/technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
• At least 3 years relevant work experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license (Class E or CDL A preferred)
• Experience with heavy and medium-duty equipment repairs
• Ability to drive Ryder vehicles and adhere to company policies
• Strong communication, customer service, and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capable of multi-tasking and organized
• Willingness to complete required training within specified timeframes

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, facilitate maintenance and repair, and discuss estimates
• Coordinate work schedules, road test vehicles, and ensure quality repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various vehicle systems, including brakes, electrical, engine, and suspension
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance records
• Act as a mentor for lower-level technicians
