Titan Machinery is seeking a Case IH Diesel Mechanic in Ames, IA to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel machinery per manufacturer specifications. You will document work performed and communicate clearly with the service manager, team, and customers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of diesel equipment experience or an Associate’s Degree in Diesel Technology, own tools, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Some travel to training facilities and flexible hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality and efficient workmanship
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly and professionally with the Service Manager, service team, and customers while providing timely and courteous service
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments

Qualifications

Required
