Titan Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Case IH Diesel Mechanic in Ames, IA to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel equipment with precision and adherence to manufacturer specifications.

You will perform accurate diagnostics, communicate findings and timelines with the Service Manager and customers, and participate in ongoing technical training to stay current on product knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program.
• Must have own tools.
• Willingness to travel to offsite training facilities, as needed.
• Keen attention to detail, high initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems per manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate findings, repair needs, and timelines with Service Manager, team, and customers.
• Engage in ongoing training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities, identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and department profitability.

Join the Titan Machinery team as a Case IH Diesel Mechanic and leverage your expertise to deliver exceptional service for diesel machinery diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise:Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components in accordance with manufacturer specifications, ensuring high-quality and efficient workmanship
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and expected timelines clearly and professionally with the Service Manager, service team, and customers while providing timely and courteous service
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Participate in ongoing professional and technical training to maintain current product knowledge and service capabilities. Identify customer service opportunities and recommend solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and support department profitability
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work assignments
