Job summary

Greenbush Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to repair and maintain diesel engines, trucks, and trailers, including Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, Mack, Hyundai, and Linde lift trucks.

The role requires 2+ years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience and at least 1 year of diesel engine repair experience. Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience (Required)
  • At least one (1) year of diesel engine repair experience preferred
  • At least one (1) year of mechanical knowledge preferred
  • High School or better.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs.
  • Perform mechanical & electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions and validate work performed.
  • Maintain records of work orders and communicate across all groups/departments.
  • Follow safety policies, including Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.

Greenbush Logistics, Inc. is looking for a Diesel Mechanic. Our Diesel Mechanics play an important role in ensuring that our equipment runs properly. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and trailers, including company-owned Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, and Mack trucks, as well as Hyundai and Linde lift trucks.

Analyze problems and interpret technical information necessary to make required repairs (troubleshooting equipment issues).

Perform mechanical & electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.

Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction and validate work performed.

Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules, procedures, and Lock-out / Tag-out procedures,

Complete all assigned work orders within the time allotted. Maintain complete records of work performed using software, work orders, and detailed logs and have good communication skills across all groups/departments.

Education and/or Experience Required:

Two (2) or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience (Required)

At least one (1) year of diesel engine repair experience preferred

At least one (1) year of mechanical knowledge preferred
