Qualifications

• Vocational/technical degree or certification.
• 2–4 years experience in marine or automotive maintenance.
• Basic reading, writing and metric math skills.
• Knowledge of portable drill, vacuum, wrenches, pliers, tape, testers, voltmeters, gauges.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation and repair of mechanical, plumbing, and engine-related components.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Performs light maintenance on mechanical boat systems.
• Runs hoses, valves, and prepares water for plumbing and engine cooling.
• Assists in installing machinery and related components.
• Develops basic material lists and assists with billing/charges.
