Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Maintenance Trainer to develop, deliver, and evaluate technical training across our maintenance teams in the United States. This role focuses on improving fleet reliability, safety, and compliance with company and client standards.

You will partner with maintenance leadership to identify skill gaps, address performance trends, and implement targeted training solutions for technicians and apprentices. This is open to part-time or full-time arrangements depending on location.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in maintenance/repair of heavy-duty or transit equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and maintenance manuals; experience with diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training programs for maintenance personnel.
• Evaluate technician performance and identify skill gaps.
• Partner with maintenance leadership to address training needs based on KPIs.
• Conduct hands-on training and provide guidance on diagnostics and repair procedures.
• Maintain training records and prepare reports on training activities.
