Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Diesel Maintenance Technician (B) to repair and maintain diesel-powered customer vehicles and equipment, including material handling and trailers. You will work independently with limited supervision and mentor junior technicians as needed.

The role requires basic welding, electrical and mechanical diagnostics, tire handling, and the ability to adapt to a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge acquired through 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• DOT Brake Inspection certification.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical diagnostic and repair of customer vehicles and equipment.
• Perform various forms of equipment repair including drive chain components and automatic brake systems at an intermediate level.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and resolve inventory discrepancies; notify management if unresolved.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and warehouse.
• Operate in maintenance software to record data, ensure DOT compliance and return-order follow-up.
• Mentor Vehicle Technicians C when needed; perform other duties as assigned.
