Job summary

Red Classic is seeking a Diesel Maintenance Technician (B) to repair and maintain diesel-powered equipment, trailers, and material handling gear. You will work with limited supervision and mentor junior technicians, supporting a safe and productive shop environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, DOT brake inspection certification, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate. Flexible start times may apply; standard shift is Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience preferred
• DOT Brake Inspection certification required or able to obtain
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate required

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain customer vehicles and diesel-powered equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and perform repairs
• Manage parts inventory and report discrepancies
• Keep work area clean and safe; follow DOT requirements
• Record data in the maintenance system and support DOT compliance
• Mentor Vehicle Technicians C as needed
