Transdev is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Detroit, MI to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across vehicles and equipment. You will work to ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity of our fleet, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians and lead diagnostic efforts.

Qualifications include 2 years as a Mechanic, ASE certifications, and DOT drug testing compliance. The role offers a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Mechanic.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot diesel engine issues.
• Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on diesel engine components.
• Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize diesel engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to identify complex issues and determine repair strategies.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines, including overhauling components.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Other duties as required.
