Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Vocational training in diesel/automotive maintenance is an asset.

• Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist diesel mechanics with inspections, maintenance, and repairs of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks: oil/filter changes, lubrication, tire inspections.
• Support with brakes, suspension, air systems, electrical components, and other systems.
• Help prepare vehicles for scheduled maintenance and inspections.
• Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company standards.
