Job summary

Central States Bus Sales, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician for the Oswego, IL location. The role involves maintenance and repair of a wide range of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment, along with diagnostics and installation of options.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of automotive maintenance experience, CDL-B with endorsements, and ASE or Cummins certifications are a plus. Company offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years formal work experience performing basic automotive maintenance.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques used in the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of equipment and vehicles
• CDL-B with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements within 3 months of hire; company will provide some training and assistance to help obtain CDL.
• ASE Certifications, a plus
• Cummins ISB/ISC Certification, a plus
• MVI License, a plus
• Ability to operate pallet jack and pallet lift
• Ability to perform mechanical work on mid-range diesel-powered vehicles, heavy-duty gasoline vehicles, pickups, cars, light duty equipment, and related systems

Responsibilities

• This position’s primary purpose is to perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles, along with diagnosing/troubleshooting systems related to the vehicle, installing vehicle added options and miscellaneous repair.
