Job summary

Central States Bus Sales is seeking a full-time Service Utility Technician in Oswego, IL to support the Service Department. You will install dealer components, detail and prep buses for delivery, operate light equipment, and assist with tire and mechanical repairs.

The role requires basic automotive maintenance experience and a clean driving record; CDL Class B is preferred but not required. The company offers medical benefits, 401k, vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive maintenance experience preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• CDL Class B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain dealer installed components (audio visual equipment, radios, heaters).
• Detail and prep new and used buses for customer pick-up or delivery.
• Operate motorized and light equipment including pickup truck, pallet jack, pallet lift and various hand power tools.
• Change oil and filters in company vehicles and customer vehicles.
• Clean facilities and perform routine maintenance to automotive repair equipment.
• Assist in tire and mechanical repairs.
• Assist in mechanical, sandblasting, painting, cleanup, and simple automotive work.
• Delivery/shuttling of vehicles and parts.
