Job summary

Capital Electric is seeking a skilled technician to repair and maintain trucks and heavy construction equipment. You will diagnose complex systems, perform preventive maintenance, and manage parts and records.

The role includes driving company equipment, safety checks, and collaborating with peers to keep operations efficient. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in heavy equipment maintenance, a Class A CDL with a valid medical card, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance/repair experience on trucks or heavy equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Class A CDL and DOT medical card required or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, rebuild, and repair vehicles and construction equipment.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet assets.
• Order parts, maintain records, and set up new equipment.
• Drive company vehicles and ensure safety checks before trips.
• Build and maintain relationships with coworkers and vendors.
