Job summary

Turner Industries seeks a Diesel Mechanic in Baton Rouge, LA to repair automotive equipment including trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery. You will perform preventive maintenance and diagnostic work, following procedures and safety policies. A valid license and own tools are required, with 2–5 years GM/Ford experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have own tools and toolbox and 2–5 years of GM/Ford vehicle experience.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with automotive scan tools and diagnosis.
• ASME certification preferred.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen and signed policy acceptance.
• Comply with safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automotive and heavy equipment.
• Follow supervisor's directions and complete additional assignments as needed.
