Job summary

Mike’s Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to service heavy-duty equipment from ships to trucks in a top-tier shop. Precision, problem-solving, and pride in workmanship are essential.

You will perform smart troubleshooting with diagnostic software, execute expert repairs on diesel engines and exhaust systems, conduct total maintenance and quality checks, and maintain orderly notes. A valid CDL Class B, good physical condition, and strong teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Engine knowledge of how diesel engines work, with brands like Cummins or John Deere a plus.
• Proficient with diagnostic software and modern shop tech.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Strong work ethic, organized, and clear communicator.
• Valid CDL Class B license required.

Responsibilities

• Smart Troubleshooting: Using high-tech software to find and fix problems in engines, brakes, and steering systems.
• Expert Repairs: Taking apart and fixing diesel engines and exhaust systems.
• Total Maintenance: Doing deep inspections to catch small problems before they cause a breakdown.
• Quality Control: Checking every vehicle to make sure it meets our high standards before it leaves the shop.
