Job summary

Teksky LLC is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with hands-on experience in inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, buses, and related equipment. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a fleet, dealership, or service environment.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, document work performed, and coordinate with service teams to minimize downtime while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with heavy-duty trucks, buses, or heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, and drivetrain components.
• Ability to use diagnostic software, tools, and service manuals.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a commercial service environment.
• Good communication skills and commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, electrical systems, brakes, and other components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs to ensure reliability and reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical documentation.
• Repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks, buses, and related equipment.
• Complete repair orders and accurately document all work performed.
• Identify required parts and communicate repair needs and timelines with service teams.
• Perform inspections and safety checks to ensure vehicles meet quality standards.
• Respond to service needs, including occasional road calls when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following company safety procedures.
