A public transportation agency in Burlington, VT, is seeking a Journeyman OR Master Mechanic. This role requires conducting inspections, performing repairs, and maintaining all GMT systems and equipment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, CDL, and strong mechanical skills. The position offers a starting wage of $27.31 to $37.60 per hour along with excellent health insurance, retirement plans, and generous PTO. Competenze

• CDL within 90 days of hire and a clean driving record required.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Formal training on gas and/or diesel-powered trucks and buses preferred.

• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests on vehicles.
• Perform diesel and heavy equipment repairs.
• Maintain shop facilities and equipment properly.
