Job summary

NWPX Infrastructure in Washington state is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform mechanical and preventative maintenance on gas, diesel and heavy equipment. You will diagnose, repair and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fabricate or modify equipment, and coordinate with other maintenance staff and production crews on projects with the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education and/or training is preferred.
• 1–3 years of Production Manufacturing maintenance support is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair gas, diesel and heavy equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Fabricate or modify equipment; coordinate with maintenance and production teams on projects.
• Assist with safety, environmental programs; inspect fire and water systems and cranes.
• Design and build new equipment for processes; work with Plant Manager on projects.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and be available for overtime as needed.
