Job summary

Milton Rents in Portland, ME is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair construction and rental equipment in our shop.

You will perform maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems, and document work orders. A valid driver's license and professional tools are required; 7 paid sick days and industry benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience as heavy equipment, diesel, construction, rental, or fleet mechanic.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver’s license and professional-grade tools.
• High school diploma or technical training preferred.
