Job summary

Milton Rents is seeking a Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair construction and rental equipment in our Plaistow shop.

Based in Plaistow, NH, this role offers a weekday schedule with overtime options. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs, working closely with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment, diesel, construction, rental, or fleet mechanic experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Professional-grade mechanic's tools.
• High school diploma or technical training preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Test equipment to ensure safe, proper operation
• Complete work orders and service documentation
• Work with customers, vendors, and other team members as needed

Milton Rents is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Service Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair construction and rental equipment in our shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Test equipment to ensure safe, proper operation
• Complete work orders and service documentation
• Work with customers, vendors, and other team members as needed
