Job summary

Truck Country® / Stoops Freightliner-Western Star in Indiana is seeking a skilled diesel technician to repair and maintain customer equipment. You will work with hand tools, precision measuring instruments and machine tools to diagnose engine and driveline issues.

The role includes routine maintenance checks on brakes, electrical and air systems, and you will join a team supported by a comprehensive benefits package, a 401(k) match and opportunities for monthly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a technician.
• Ability to display knowledge of diesel and gas engines.
• Ability to display knowledge of repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain customer equipment using hand tools and machine tools.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and examine parts for defects and wear; repair engine/driveline/ABS issues.
• Perform routine maintenance checks including inspecting brake, wheel bearings, electrical and air systems.
