Job summary

Tire Pros in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Diesel/Heavy Duty Mechanic to perform non-technical diesel and heavy-duty service repairs, including brake components, air systems, and suspension, while delivering high customer satisfaction.

You will perform DOT inspections, tire and wheel services, PMs, and help keep the shop and showroom clean. Strong communication and physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds are required; training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers, associates and management.
• Ability to use automotive tools including impact gun and sockets, standard/metric wrench and socket set, screwdriver, and oil filter tools.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds and push/pull up to 60 pounds for a significant portion of the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-technical diesel and heavy-duty service repairs.
• Conduct DOT vehicle inspections and tire/wheel services.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the service department and showroom.
