Power Plus is hiring Generator Service Technicians in Akron, OH. The role focuses on maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and testing diesel generators from 5 kW to 4000 kW while delivering top‑tier customer service.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in diesel generator work, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to read schematics; Journeyman Electrician credentials are a plus. Competitive pay with benefits and overtime available.

Qualifications

• DIESEL generators experience and field troubleshooting are required.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude in generator environments.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work diverse shifts.
• Journeyman Electrician credential is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and test 5kW–4000kW generators.
• Interact with customers and document work clearly.
• Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
