Butler Machinery Company in Jamestown, ND, is hiring a Generator Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agriculture equipment. You will troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical, and powertrain systems, work with a team, and pursue ongoing training to stay current with industry standards.

Overtime is available; travel to other Butler and customer locations may be required. The position offers competitive pay ($32.73–$53.03/hr DOE) and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• Provide an excellent customer experience.

• Willing to learn trade-specific tooling and safety practices.
• Must have valid work authorization in the U.S.
• Preferred degree or certificate in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agriculture equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting hydraulics, electrical, and powertrain systems.
• Overtime possible (1.5x after 8 hours).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
• Commit to lifelong learning and staying current with industry updates.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Travel to other Butler and customer locations.
• Other duties as assigned.
