Immediately hiring a permanent full-time Fueler Service Technician. We are seeking the right Fuel Island Attendant to join us at Ryder in Rohnert Park, California.

  • Hourly Pay: $25.64 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
  • Hours: First shift 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two or more years of related work experience preferred
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication
  • Demonstrated customer service skills; ability to understand customer communication
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software; ability to read codes and instructions; data entry skills
  • Dependable and thorough
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work at different locations
  • Ability to build professional relationships across all levels
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
  • DOT safety regulated position
  • Safety-sensitive position
  • Regulated service employee: must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire, pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, background and motor vehicle checks, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years. Additional requirements may apply based on location or account.
Responsibilities
  • Fuel, wash, and detail vehicles
  • Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units per company policies; check tire pressure, oil; report issues
  • Record fuel activity and manage fuel and DEF inventories and reconciliation
  • Move heavy-duty vehicles
  • Perform minor maintenance such as tire repairs under supervision
  • Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards; perform facility and minor maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned
