Job summary

Pepin Distributing Company, LLC is seeking a Fleet Technician to maintain and repair our diesel and non-diesel equipment, ensuring safety and reliability for our Tampa Bay fleet. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and conduct road calls to complete on-site repairs when needed.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of diesel mechanic experience, strong knowledge of CUMMINS software, and a current Commercial Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic
• Strong knowledge of CUMMINS software systems
• Must have a Commercial Driver's License or be able to obtain one
• Able to work independently and with others
• Safety minded and computer literate

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventive maintenance of tractors, trailers, and equipment
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose faults
• Run road calls to complete repairs
• Maintain service area and keep accurate records
• Log maintenance in shop software
• Inspect tires, DOT compliance, and refrigeration units
