Job summary

Booster is seeking a Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and safety of our diesel fleet and fueling equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on fleet assets at our Seattle Yard, with on-call support as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in diesel fleet maintenance, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of diesel technician or fleet maintenance experience.
• Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, tanker systems, preventative maintenance programs, and fleet repair operations.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently.
• Self-starter capable of working effectively with limited direct supervision.
• Strong work ethic, accountability, and sense of urgency.
• Comfortable using smartphones, email, digital work orders, and maintenance systems.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Reliability & Preventative Maintenance: diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel fleet assets.
• Diagnostics & Repair Execution: use tools to troubleshoot vehicle and equipment issues.
• Operational Support: respond to defects and maintenance requests within 24 hours.
• Compliance & Safety: ensure repairs meet DOT and safety standards, document logs.
• Cross-Market & Field Support: travel to booster markets and support field operations.
