Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of fleet vehicles and equipment. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and compliance with regulations while supporting cost-efficient operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with preferred training in medium/heavy-duty trucks; 2–3 years of fleet maintenance experience; valid driver’s license; and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training in medium/heavy-duty trucks preferred.
• 2–3 years of fleet maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE or inspector licenses are advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with computer-based diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Conduct annual inspections in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions across engines, transmissions, electrical, brake, and HVAC.
• Document work on work orders and learn company-specific computer programs.
• Execute electrical repairs, welding, and testing with proficiency in electrical meters and vehicle systems.
