Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Ankeny, IA seeks a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician. You will perform preventive maintenance and expert repairs on a broad range of fleet vehicles to maximize safety and reliability. Role includes diagnostic work, electrical troubleshooting, and adherence to regulatory inspections.

We offer a 40-hour night shift with a $26.00–$32.00 per hour pay rate, potential overtime, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Tools and uniforms provided; $150 for safety boots assistive.

Qualifications

• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety and reliability of fleet.
• Perform Annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on all fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical, braking, HVAC and hydraulic systems.
• Document work performed on work orders and use Sysco computer programs.
