Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is looking for a Fleet Technician Apprentice in Plympton, Massachusetts. This role entails assisting experienced fleet technicians in providing safe and efficient vehicle maintenance. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training is preferred.
• Current and valid driver's license (CDL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles.
• Diagnose and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Document all work performed using complaint, cause, and correction format.

Skills

Basic knowledge and skill of all vehicle systems and components

Basic knowledge and skill in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on all equipment

Basic knowledge and skill in welding and cutting

Basic computer skills and knowledge

Education
