You will inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of systems, conduct test drives, and maintain detailed service records while controlling costs through warranties and options. The position offers full-time hours in Lexington.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years in diesel maintenance.
• Proficiency with truck maintenance software (Paccar, Davie, Cummins, Wabco, Bendix, Freightliner).
• Ability to provide 3 professional references.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanic maintenance on commercial motor vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Inspect vehicles, diagnose worn or damaged parts, and conduct test drives to verify performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs; replace components such as brakes, axles, steering, electrical, and engine parts.
• Maintain vehicle records and keep shop equipment operating; use warranty and parts options to contain costs.
• Keep vehicles ready for service by documenting missing parts and uncleanliness.
