Job summary

Admiral Beverage Corporation in Albuquerque, New Mexico is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to repair and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment, from heavy trucks to vending refrigeration units. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent.
• Class A CDL with Airbrake endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• State Safety Inspection certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine corrective action for repair.
• Inspect vehicles for defective equipment.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on fleet vehicle systems.
• Overhaul gas and/or diesel engines.
• Examine guards, bolts, and safety devices and make adjustments.
• Lubricate moving parts and verify conformance to specifications.
• Install lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, or other devices as per manuals.
