Job summary

Booster is seeking a Diesel Fleet Maintenance Technician to safeguard the reliability, safety, and readiness of our fleet assets. You will diagnose, repair, and preventatively maintain diesel-powered vehicles, tanker systems, and fueling equipment, with on-site duties at our Fontana Yard.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of diesel/fleet experience, with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of diesel technician or fleet maintenance experience.
Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, tanker systems, preventive maintenance programs, and fleet repair operations.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently.
Self-starter capable of working effectively with limited direct supervision.
Strong work ethic, accountability, and sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and operational issues quickly and accurately.
Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
Utilize diagnostic software, tools, and testing equipment to troubleshoot vehicle and equipment issues.
Prioritize repairs based on operational urgency and fleet availability needs.
Return assets to service as quickly and safely as possible.
