Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B at our San Diego facility. The role focuses on inspecting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on fleet equipment, with documentation in AssetWorks and adherence to DOT/OSHA safety standards.

Valid driver’s license and own tools are required, along with 2+ years of related experience. The position includes a Monday-Wednesday, Friday shift from 11:00am to 9:30pm, with an hourly pay up to $35.00.

Qualifications

GED/HS Diploma with 2+ years related experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess own tools.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR per DOT.
Ability to lift 50–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair and perform routine preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.
Document repairs and maintenance in AssetWorks system with parts used and work performed.
Work on vehicles and fleet equipment as assigned.
Assist diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems with tools.
Follow DOT, OSHA and Reyes safety policies; maintain safety practices.
Drive Reyes family of businesses and customer vehicles; maintain DOT driver qualification files.
