MCNICOL MOTORS LLC in Boulder, CO is seeking a Fleet/Diesel Technician with 4-5 years of experience. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, and work with the shop's computer software. The role requires a proactive problem-solving attitude and strong mechanical knowledge.

Monday–Friday 8-5, some Saturdays. Responsibilities include diagnostics, routine maintenance, and clear communication with customers to ensure satisfaction. You will diagnose, repair, and verify vehicle systems end-to-end.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• An associate degree or completion of automotive service technician training program preferred.
• ASE or SAE certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communications skills required.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
• Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner

Job Summary

We are looking for an Fleet/Diesel Technician with 4-5 Years of experience to join our team.

Monday-Friday 8-5, some Saturdays.

As an Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the shop's computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.
