Job summary

SWTO, LLC supports 7‑Eleven’s transportation fleet, providing mechanical and technical services to diagnose, repair and maintain heavy trucks, trailers and related equipment. The role focuses on safe operation, preventive maintenance and timely repairs across a large fleet.

As a Fleet Mechanic you will perform inspections, operate tools and stay compliant with FMCSA, EPA and OSHA standards while coordinating with management on critical issues and equipment reliability across shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FMCSA, EPA and OSHA.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and MS Office applications.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing over 125 pounds.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain Class 8 vehicles and petroleum tank trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on fleet equipment.
• Test equipment and verify repairs before returning to service.
• Coordinate with outside contractors when needed to complete repairs.
• Maintain safety, OSHA-compliant work environment and document repairs.
