Job summary

Juniper is seeking a Mechanic to join our team to service and repair our truck fleet, small engines, and 2-cycle engines for landscape operations. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and documenting work, managing shop inventory, and maintaining a clean work area.

Must be capable of outdoor work in extreme temperatures. The role requires experience with small engine and light truck repairs, plus proficiency with MS Office and other software for record keeping.

Qualifications

• Small Engine repair/maintenance experience required.
• 2-cycle engine repair/maintenance experience required.
• Light Truck repair/maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications including MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Report review required.
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in fast pace environment.
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight).
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Repair of trucks, trailers, and landscape equipment correctly, safely, and efficiently.
• Accurately document all work performed to each unit electronically.
• Utilize computer software for record keeping.
• Order and maintain inventory of all shop supplies/equipment.
• Clean repaired items prior to returning for crew use.
• Keep work area and shop common areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned
