Job summary

SRM Concrete, a national leader in ready mix concrete, is hiring Fleet Mechanics to service mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, and tankers. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and rebuild major components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Willingness to work variable shifts to support fleet operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment, including oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Rebuild, replace, or repair major components such as engine heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions.
• Collaborate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies in workshop and on job sites.
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records in company systems.
• Stay updated on diesel engine technology and repair techniques.
