Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a diesel maintenance technician to ensure all trucks, trailers and yard tractors operate safely and comply with federal standards. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, powertrains, electrical, HVAC, and braking systems, and perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, powertrain, electrical, HVAC, steering, and braking systems.
• Perform electrical system repairs and cooling system maintenance; complete vehicle diagnosis.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers; complete repair orders.
