Job summary

Smyrna Ready Mix, LLC is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain diesel-powered mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safe, reliable operations and on-time deliveries.

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply with on-the-job training available. CDL is preferred and a valid driver's license is required. Safety and teamwork are emphasized in our fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in trucks and heavy equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Rebuild or repair engine components and transmissions as needed.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
