Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role with diesel trucks/heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, braking, fuel, and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, including fuel and braking systems.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems for safety and function.
• Replace gaskets, alternators, and brake parts as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory compliance during maintenance.
